This strip was done by guest artist and writer Devin T. Quin (AKA Unkie Dev). Back when these strips were running in Syracuse University’s student paper, many of the artists did some kind of round-robin comic swap. I forget the details of how it all worked, but Devin got to do one DBMD-Man strip and I remember that I assumed he’d do some kind of one-off joke. I certainly didn’t expect him to introduce characters and advance the plot, but that’s what I got. Fortunately, Devin was very true to the characters and intent, and pretty much made the strip that I just might have done myself. So I basically played the hand I was dealt and took the story from here. The Green Plunger who appears here is (obviously?) based on the Green Arrow.
